This month we are pleased to feature Jeremy Hiebert of Jeremy Hiebert Photography.

In his words…

”My love affair with photography began with my travels through Hawaii, California and the Philippines. It was during this time that my appreciation for a photographer‚Äôs ability to capture unique moments and emotive details grew. After returning to Winnipeg, I assisted several leading photographers in the city and graduated from the Enhanced Photography Program at Red River College. I‚Äôve been a registered professional photographer with the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) for several years.

I feel blessed to have the career that I do. It is more than a job to me; I believe that it’s a unique opportunity to build friendships with the people I work with. Throughout the time leading up to a wedding, I value my meetings with a couple as it strengthens the trust between us and nurtures the rapport that is so vital between a photographer and his clients. You may think that I get tired of weddings but I truly believe in marriage and what it means, and I love seeing individuals commit to each other in this way. It doesn’t get old! It is the same with portrait sessions РI know that the families I work with will cherish the images portraying these moments in time. I feel privileged that my clients choose to entrust me with their precious and tender memories, and I sincerely appreciate the responsibility of capturing these moments.

I specialize in wedding and portrait photography, and I strive to provide you with a professional product in a contemporary and photojournalistic style. Additionally, my goal is to ensure that you enjoy a memorable experience working with me. I believe that a photo shoot should be relaxed and rewarding, and I’m satisfied when I hear comments like, “I never knew posing for photos could be so much fun”.

On a personal level, I‚Äôve been married to my beautiful wife, Meagan, since 2005. We continue to enjoy traveling together and getting involved in lots of outdoor activities, whether in the summer or winter. We also value the time we spend working with youth, and love serving at camps and church. Our little boy, Aaron, was born on Christmas Day in 2008 and we‚Äôre thrilled to watch his young personality develop and to spend time with him as he explores his world. As my own family and love for them have grown, so has my appreciation for my clients‚Äô love for each other and their families. I believe that this has made me a better photographer and I hope you see this depth reflected in my work.”
