Today we are thrilled to share with you one of our favourite dresses from this summer!

Our June bride, Alicia wore the stunning Helena dress by Vera Wang. This ivory strapless ball gown is wedding couture at its finest. Best known for her innovation, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, Vera Wang does not disappoint.

Constructed out of three different types of lace, it is both delicate and dramatic. Layers of tulle add volume and elegance to the gown. Decorated in organza  appliqués of crystal springs and subtle flowers. The bride added a crystal beaded sash to define the waist and add sparkle.

This wedding dress is truly a masterpiece and Alicia looks GORGEOUS  in it!

This year The Manitoba Theatre Centre hosted the Black & White Gala Ball on November 5th in the Grand Ballroom of the The Fort Garry Hotel.

The evening started out with a flash mob choreographed by Patti Caplette and it was fantastic!  Guests were pleasantly surprised when their friends and spouses started joining in with the professional dancers. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to check out the video that our friends at At First Sight Cinematography created for us.

Once again the night was a huge success and helped to raise over $90,000 for The Manitoba Theatre Centre. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by The Fort Garry Hotel along with a Mad Men style Martini Bar to tie into the 1960′s flavour of the evening.  As always The Danny Kramer Event Band serenaded guests onto the dance floor and kept the crowd dancing all night long.

Jill & Lee had a beautiful wedding day just outside of the city.  The ceremony and reception were held at Rembrandts Bistro, which is surrounded by fields and country scenery.  From the looks of it, Jill & Lee had a great time, especially when they had their pictures taken on the fire truck!  Jill & Lee were a fantastic couple to work with, they were easy going, and we loved every minute of planning their dream wedding with them.  We wish you both all the best in the future!
